WINE
Châteauneuf-du-"Pope" Wines at Tria Cafe
Have faith in our wine selections this Papal weekend. A trio of Tria locations will be pouring two special Châteauneuf-du-"Pope" wines—a rare Châteauneuf Blanc and a richly regal red.
Named for the "new house of the Pope," Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the landmark region of the Rhône. As the name suggests, the wine region was named after the "new papal home," referring to the period of time in the 1300's when the pope resided in Avignon (within the Rhône) instead of Rome. Enjoy these special wines while we've got them—just like the beers above, supplies are extremely limited.
Where Tria Rittenhouse, Tria Wash West and Tria Fitler Square
When Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27. Rittenhouse and Wash West open at noon every day, Fitler Square at 4pm Friday and Saturday, 11am Sunday.
