Build Like a Girl
On June 24, 2016, Miron Construction hosted Build Like a Girl for female students in 7th-10th grades interested in learning more about construction. Here is just a glimpse of what the girls experienced that day.
PROJECT IN PROGRESS: University of Iowa Madison Street Residence Hall
The University of Iowa recently celebrated at a Topping-Out Ceremony for the Madison Street Residence Hall, a 12-story, 311,000-square-foot on-campus living and dining facility. Since the start of construction, more than 1,500 tons of steel reinforcing was placed, 17,000 cubic yards of concrete was utilized, and members of the crew have logged 180,000 hours of work.
Chad Pingel earns WELL Accredited Professional Credential
Chad Pingel, manager of sustainable services for Miron, recently joined the ranks of Miron’s director of sustainable services as the company's second team member to earn the WELL Accredited Professional Credential.

Everything about the Tough Mudder implies strength, both physical and mental. Training for and competing on race day requires courage and determination. Even signing up takes guts–especially when it will be your first time participating in the event. This year, Miron has a number of first-timers on its Tough Mudder team.
