The entire Network for New Music community deeply mourns the loss of Jim Primosch, a respected and admired master composer, who created and performed music with devotion and originality. He was a true friend of Network, a generous and thoughtful collaborator, and a wise and gracious advisor.
Network was fortunate to work with Jim on many occasions, in this case for the premiere of his Chamber Concerto that was performed in Rose Hall; it so clearly demonstrates what a sensitive and inventive ear he had. He will be missed and remembered fondly by many for his music and his kindness.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Jim's family, and to all who mourn this great loss to our community. Jim's wife Mary has asked that we share the funeral arrangements below; all are welcome. May he rest in peace.
