JOIN NETWORK for a season filled with exciting new music and creative events that provide projections, intersections, perspectives, and reflections to both enlighten and entertain you!

1. Sunday, November 7, 2021; 3pm

Projections: Icebox Project Space: Our season opener featuring string quartets by Eleanor Alberga and Trevor Weston and the premiere of Amanda Harberg’s Tales of Lyra for solo bass clarinet.

2. Sunday, February 27, 2022; 2pm

Intersections - Settlement Music School: The long-awaited concert celebrating Jan Krzywicki’s 30th anniversary as the conductor of the Network ensemble and his many contributions to music featuring: Krzywicki’s Catching Light; Rainbow Chaser, a newly commissioned work from student Michael Shingo-Crawford; Robert Capanna’s Stria for solo flute; and Waves, a 30-minute major work commissioned for the occasion, from Grawemeyer Award-winning composer, Sebastian Currier. Reception to follow.

3. Sunday, April 24, 2022; 3pm

Joycean Perspectives - Settlement Music School: In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the publication of James Joyce’s Ulysses, Network collaborates with The Rosenbach museum and library (where the manuscript is held) to present a new song cycle commission from Grammy Award-winning composer Lansing McLoskey, in addition to an arrangement of James Joyce’s original song “Bid Adieu to Girlish Days”.

4. Sunday, May 1, 2022; 3-5pm

Musical Fund Society (MFS) Bicentennial Concert - Perelman Theater, Kimmel Center: The Network Ensemble joins in another long-awaited celebration of the Musical Fund Society's Bicentennial by performing the world premiere of Stephen Jaffe’s Three Arcs
