Registration 2023-2024

SLC has been busy planning programming for the 2023-2024 school year and registration is OPEN through our website. Visit our site to learn more about programs, tuition and to register as a "continuing family".

Kindergarten registration is also OPEN! SLC is offering an early bird discount to families who register before March 1st (a $500 discount).

Please help us spread the word about our toddler, preschool and kindergarten programs for the 2023-2024 school year by telling your friends with young children that registration is open!

Lunch & Learn

Session 2 Lunch & Learn begins the week of January 9th. If you would like to add Wednesday or Thursday to your child's schedule please register here. On Wednesday Jumping Julie provides an energetic fun-filled creative movement class in the gym! On Thursday Joel Frankel provides his musical merriment!

Save the Date

We are excited to announce our first "Buy-In" party of the year. Please save the date: Sunday, January 29th at 1:00 p.m. and join us at Stride Wilmette for an energizing 50 minute workout, followed by a bite to eat. This "buy in" party is being hosted by Chrissy Cornell and Katie Kelly. More details to come in the new year!

What is a Buy-In Party?  These are community building events, hosted by one person (or a few people).  All proceeds from the sale of tickets to attend a buy-in event, benefit our school. Past Buy-In parties have included Mimosas & Manicures, Trivia Night, Get your dance on @ D.I.M.E., Backyard Arts & Crafts Party for Kids, and more. The options are limitless! Interested in hosting a buy-in party in the New Year? Please reach out to our Room Parent Coordinator, Robin Velo.

Upcoming Research Project

As we look ahead to 2023, we wanted to let you know about an exciting new collaboration with child development researchers at RUSH University Medical Center. The researchers want to understand how face masks affect word learning in young children. The Rush University team is inviting our families to participate in this project (taking place here at SLC, during your child's school day.)  Please look for more information upon our return to school in January.
Best Wishes for a wonderful holiday season!  We look forward to seeing everyone in January! School resumes on the 9th!

Happy New Year,
Chrissy C., Kiki, Katie and Chrissy P.
