You are invited to join Katie Kelly and Chrissy Cornell at our first "Buy-In" party of the year! Join us for a 55-minute workout, followed by coffee and yogurt bar.
When: Sunday, January 29th at 12:45 p.m.
Where: Stride Wilmette (1515 Sheridan Rd.)
Fee: $40.00 per person
Why: Come get your steps in, socialize with other SLC families and support your favorite preschool.

Register for the 2023-24 School Year
It's time to think about your child's placement for next year. Registration is OPEN through our website. Please register before February 1st-- once all SLC priority families are registered then we can begin to welcome new families. Speaking of new families, please tell a friend about us! They can book a tour with Katie Kelly to learn what SLC is all about.
SLC Kindergarten Registration-- register before March 15th and receive an Early Bird discount of $500 off tuition.

District 65 Kindergarten Information
For Pre-K Parents: District 65 registration for the 2023-24 school year is also underway. For families who plan to attend D.65 Kindergarten, there is an upcoming registration information session on Zoom on Wednesday, January 18th at 7:00 PM.

The Evanston Public Library has a "kids events" page that offers a variety of events for children and their families-- New Year's scavenger hunt, Celebration of MLK Day, Jammie Time, Storytelling in the Art Garden to name a few. You can visit their page and learn more here.

MLK Jr. Day-- No School Monday
A reminder that we do not have school on Monday, January 16th to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The City of Evanston will be hosting several events and celebrations in recognition of this important holiday, you can view the schedule here.

Racial Healing Week
The YWCA Equity Institute will be hosting three events during Racial Healing week, January 16-20, 2023. Learn more about the work we can do within our community to end systemic inequity, restore wholeness, and repair damage. Events include a book discussion and virtual Keynote Speaker, activist Mariame Kaba.
