|Monday, Sep 24: Lunchtime protest at the FBI
Lunchtime protest at FBI Headquarters (Corner of 9th and Pennsylvania NW, Washington DC)
Monday, September 24 at noon
Guest performer: Shahid Buttar
It's been 2 years since the FBI raided the homes of 24 activists in the Midwest... since that time the FBI has spent its time spying on, infiltrating and entrapping Occupy activists and other progressive activists and movements, infiltrating mosques and spying on Muslims, South Asians, Arab Americans and others, and carrying out numerous entrapment schemes.

Takoma Park passes NDAA resolution!
We're very pleased that the Takoma Park City Council passed the Montgomery County Civil Rights Coalition's NDAA resolution by 5-2 on May 21st. Thank you to Mayor Bruce Williams and City Council members Kay Daniels-Cohen, Fred Schultz, Terry Seamens, and Reuben Snipper for their support; thank you to the Maryland ACLU, South Asian Americans Leading Together, Defending Dissent, and Peace Action Montgomery for their endorsements -- and thank you and so many other many supporters who signed our petition and showed up in City Council to advocate that our community take a stand against indefinite detentions and for the rule of law.
