5 Fundraising Tips for the Rotaract Summit

So you want to attend the first-ever Rocky Mountain Rotaract Summit this October 29th? Or maybe you'd like to travel to the Rotaract Preconvention? Or North American RYLA? There are so many awesome events available to Rotaractors from all over the world. The only problem is that they all cost a lot of money. And since most Rotaractors in the United States are college students, money is something we don't have. Airfare alone can cost anywhere from $500 – $1,000, not to mention conference registration and hotel/motel.

At first, raising money can seem daunting, especially if it's for something as fun as a Rotaract conference. It seems crazy that anyone should give you money to travel to Salt Lake City for a weekend just to attend the Rotaract Summit. But for many Rotaractors, fundraising is a necessary part of the Rotaract experience. Check out our most recent blog post with 5 fundraising tips for the Rocky Mountain Rotaract Summit or other Rotaract conferences.

Council on Legislation Changes

Did you know that you can now be a member of Rotaract and Rotary at the same time? This past April, the Rotary Council on Legislation approved a proposal that allows Rotaractors to join a Rotary club while still maintaining their membership in a Rotaract club. You can read more about the Council on Legislation here.
