New hours, programs: Georgia State Railroad Museum and Old Fort Jackson – both large, open-air spaces in Savannah – will have a seasonal change in operating hours for the Fall 2021 season.
New hours: Tuesday through Sunday, 9AM-4PM with the museums being closed on Mondays through Dec. 6.
Both sites will have a special opening for Columbus Day on Mon. Oct. 11.
Georgia State Railroad Museum will have blacksmithing demos Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & will welcome visitors to take a Site Tour by Train on Fridays & Saturdays.

2021 KiDS Rock Savannah: KiDS Rock Savannah is happening! Online registration is now open. 2:30PM Sun. Nov. 7 @ Daffin Park in Savannah. Children ages 1-17 are invited to participate. New this year: a toddler race for kids ages 1-3. The race distance is 80ft for the toddlers. There will also be a 1/2 mile (ages 3-8) or one mile (ages 5-17).
