CEPAR Chief Investigator Professor Kaarin Anstey chaired Living to get the Age Pension and enjoy life in retirement: Prospects and policy options, a forum organised by the ACT Australian Association of Gerontology on August 27. Associate Investigators Dr Peter Butterworth, Dr Peter Whiteford and Dr Kim Kiely also contributed to discussion of factors affecting the health and well-being of older Australians now and in the future, and of policy options to address inequalities in retirement stemming from inequalities earlier in life, particularly those associated with workforce participation and disability.
