Payment Times Survey

The AICM and the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman have partnered to create a survey to gain an understanding of the issues and effects of late payments on small business.

The survey is focused on Small Businesses (<100 staff or <$5m revenue p.a.) experience with late payments, specifically with big businesses.  Please encourage any small business owners you know to complete this survey.

The AICM is committed to improving payment times in Australia and the flow-on effects of this survey and inquiry will benefit all businesses through better payment practices and improved credit worthiness of small businesses.

At the 2016 National Conference we took advantage of the largest gathering of Credit Professionals in Australia to produce some short video's that promote some of the ways the AICM connects educates and represents its members.

The videos are in the process of being added to the AICM website but can all be accessed on the AICM's Vimeo Channel
The videos are ideal for showing fellow credit professionals the benefits of AICM membership and the various activities as they feature our members and supporters talking about their experiences.

Christmas can be unfair

Sometimes it feels unfair to have to work through the holiday period but this time can be used to catch up on all the developments of 2017, such as the Unfair Contracts legislation (commenced 12 November) or the continual developments in Unfair Preference Claims and PPS Law.

Searching the AICM articles for "Unfair" returns 12 articles on these topics to keep you busy and up to date.

The AICM board and staff wish AICM members and our supporters a happy and safe Christmas and New Year period and look forward to a successful 2017 of connecting, education and representing credit professionals.

AICM National Office will be closed from 12pm 22 December and reopen on 3 January 2017.
