4th CIE Symposium on Colour and Visual Appearance
CIE Tutorial on Visual Appearance Fundamentals and Measurement.
September 5 – 9, 2016, Prague, Czech Republic
As previously announced the outline of the week-long CIE event in Prague, September 5 to 9, 2016, is given in the table below:
The programmes for the 4th CIE Symposium on Colour and Visual Appearance and the CIE Technical Meetings are now completed and the details of these can be found at the links in the outline table above.
The Symposium itself will comprise six oral sessions with 24 presentations, two sessions for presented posters with nine short presentations, and two poster sessions. The oral sessions cover the following topics:
- Visual Perception (two sessions)
- BRDF Fundamental Metrology
- Measurement of Goniochromatism
- Novel Approaches to Measuring Appearance
- Models and Digital Rendering
Due to unexpected demand additional places have been made available for the symposium dinner. If you were previously unable to register for the dinner, but would still like to join for the evening, please use the online registration process making a new registration simply for the dinner – apologies for this inconvenience.
Event registration is now available at the standard rate, after Sunday, August 28 payment for online registration will only be accepted using the credit card facility.
On-site registration will be available, but payment will only be accepted in cash, either in Czech Crowns or Euros.
The Don Giovanni Hotel, the venue for the event, has provided favourable accommodation rates for participants (CZK 2 350, ~ € 90, including breakfast and VAT). This rate is available until August 5, 2016 or while accommodation is available. To reserve accommodation at this special rate please use the Don Giovanni Booking Form.
