CIE Hangzhou

September 2012

Dear Colleagues,

CIE provides you with an itinerary planner (online as well as for mobile devices as an app) which permits you to conveniently schedule and manage your personal itinerary at CIE2012.

This online Abstracts Itinerary Planner makes it easy to find, view and share all of the information that you might need. The entire meeting program can be viewed on one screen, and from there you can easily add or remove presentations and events to your personal itinerary with one click.
The simplified yet robust search option allows you to find specific sessions or presentations. Instant feedback on your searches is provided and you may refine them quickly and repeatedly to exactly get to the information you care about and save it to your itinerary.

You can easily manage your own itinerary by adding or removing sessions, presentations or events, you clearly see potential scheduling conflicts and papers that have been withdrawn.

It can be added to your calendar with a variety of export options. Or you can view CIE 2012 itinerary onsite right from your mobile device.
MOBILE ITINERARY PLANNER for Mobile Devices such as IPhone, Blackberry and other Smartphones

Official event listings and agendas often run into hundreds of pages and are listed in large, bulky guidebooks that take too long to read through entirely making it easy
for key sessions to be overlooked. With MyItinerary, you have the option of using traditional meeting materials or browsing and searching the meeting program and creating a personalized itinerary with a mobile version of ScholarOne Abstracts Itinerary Planner.
MyItinerary allows you to:
  • Browse sessions, events, and presentations
  • View presentation details
  • Add individual presentations or entire sessions
  • View schedule conflicts and withdrawals
  • Search for items based on session title, abstract title, location or
author name
  • View the venue map
  • Get conference information
For further information and a user manual we may refer you to the mobile app instruction document (docx).
We hope that this new tool is useful and convenient and look very much forward to meeting you in Hangzhou!
