is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization and is one of the seven ancient Chinese capitals, famous for its historical and cultural heritages. The city has a history of more than 2200 years since it was established as a county by the First Emperor Qing. Hangzhou, as the capital of Zhejiang province, is the political, economic and cultural center of Changjiang Delta. Lying on the west edge of Hangzhou city, the West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China. The “Hangzhou West Lake Culture Landscape” has been listed in the World Heritage List.
The Conference Venue, The Dragon Hotel, is close to the West Lake, as well as to the Zhejiang Museum and Hangzhou Botanical Garden.
The hotel was recently been awarded the International Star Diamond Award by AAHS, which represents the highest honor in the international tourism industry, and is the city’s first hotel who won this price.
