We hope you have had a great break, rested and recharged for the new year!
Over January we were invited to have a hit on court at the Australian Open.
We hosted Summer Games Day Wednesday 22 of January. It was a great day to make friends and join in some fun games.

POD Picnic - Victoria
Join us on February 9 at DCA for the first Parent of Deaf (POD) Picnic
Our parent mentors will be in attendance to share their experiences.
DCA Family Camp
This years Family Camp will be held Saturday June 27 to Sunday June 28.
The camp is open to children aged 5 - 12 in primary school.
Caitlyn, Saskia, Alan and Eleanor recently completed their 2019 Youth Grant projects. You can read about their projects here.

Hasas Shines!
“The DCA camp was incredibly helpful for all of us,” Nadeesha says. “It gave Hasas the opportunity to participate in confidence-building activities such as rock climbing. In turn, it allowed Yasas to meet other children like him who also have a brother or sister with profound hearing loss.”
“And for me and my husband, it was a wonderful opportunity to learn from other parents like us and to spend time with adults who are deaf or hard of hearing. They are a wonderful role model for us, and for our boys.”
