Body Builders

Mid-American Baptist Churches of Iowa and Minnesota
strive to work together to build up the body of Christ.

Dear <<First Name>>,
Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church - BlogResources for Pentecost 2020 – Godspacelight

George Floyd
Below is the email I sent to our MABC Ministers last Wednesday in the Minneapolis/Twin Cities Area:

Dear MABC Minneapolis/St. Paul Pastors,
I have no words. And yet I feel like I should, but my words seem hollow.
I want to say that I can't believe that this has happened - but I know better.
I pray to God, How long O Lord? But I feel like I have been asking that question so often, with no answer.
I grieve for the Floyd family and for the Minneapolis/St. Paul family.
I pray for you as you minister to your flock in the living of these days.
I'm here if you need me and I can be of support to you and yours.
Just know that I'm thinking and praying that God gives you the courage and the strength to lead on.

Rev. Jacquline L. Saxon
Executive Minister

MABC Family - let's continue to pray for the Floyd Family and the Minnesota - St. Paul community as our MABC pastors lead their flocks during this turbulent time. I know they would appreciate it.

AND..... you can now check out the Region's newly formatted website: (same web address but a different look and feel all together). Thank you for your patience in this long transition. I arrived in this position to a website that had major technical difficulties that I couldn't solve and needed a major revamp. It has taken time - but I think we have something that you can be proud of. We are still updating areas - but if there is something you would like to see or information that is incorrect, please email and let me know. Special thanks to Shawnen Smith-Youngman, member of FBC Davenport. He has held my hand through this transition and has been my "tech guru". I'm excited about the possibilities. Thank you Shawnen for your continued help! And thank you to others that have offered help and support throughout this transition. You have also held my hand and been my "tech gurus".

COVID-19 Assessment Survey of ABC Congregations

The members of the National Executive Council and Regional Executive Ministers Council are conducting a survey of American Baptist congregations to assess the impact of COVID-19.  Your answers will enhance our national response to the needs and opportunities created by this global health crisis. Only one person in the congregation needs to complete the survey. The best person to complete this survey would be the pastor or other knowledgeable person in the congregation. The survey should take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete. We appreciate you and we appreciate the time taken to fill out this survey.   COVID-19 ABC Congregational Survey May 2020
