Judith Roode - WARM Visionary

WARM is saddened by the news of Judith Roode’s passing.

Judith started WARM on the path to many years of inspired mentoring with the Rent-a-Mentor-Program beginning in 1982.

Her vision, passion, and commitment to the power of art for change continue to impact the lives of so very many artists in the Twin Cities, the state of Minnesota, and beyond.

WARM recognized Judith’s work and profound contributions to the artistic landscape at our 30th anniversary show in 2012, where she spoke to a large audience: https://mcad.edu/academic-news/judith-roode-acknowledged-warm’s-30th-anniversary

Such an amazing leader, teacher, artist, feminist, trail-blazer and inspiration - We are grateful for the gifts she gave to so many in the WARM community.

Do Google her name and learn more about Judith Roode, her life, and her exquisite art.

May she rest in peace and power.

On behalf of the WARM Board of Directors,
Tara l. Tieso, President
