The Minnesota Women's Consortium Needs Your Help

As you may know there has been great uncertainty for the past three years about the future of the Minnesota Women’s Building. The League of Women Voters stated it wanted to sell its fifty percent ownership. For the past year it appeared the only solution would be selling the building, so there has been urgency in seeking a way to keep the building for the women of Minnesota.

A unique opportunity has been presented to the Consortium: a $50,000 challenge grant for launching a fundraising campaign to enable the purchasing of the League’s share. This is the time to save, not sell, the Women’s Building.

If the building is put up for sale, there is no guarantee that the Consortium, the League, and the many renting organizations would be allowed to remain.

Please consider making a donation and join with others to raise the funds necessary to purchase the League's share of the Minnesota Women's Building. Please consider a gift as a memorial or in honor of your mother, daughter, granddaughter. niece, or woman friend. Gifts of stock are welcomed, also You may call in a pledge at (651) 228-0338 and press 2 to leave the information. The Minnesota Women’s Consortium is a 501 (c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible if you itemize expenses.
