We kick off the new year with some seriously good drama, including Martyna Majok's Pulitzer Prize-winning Cost of Living, premiering at Hampstead Theatre this month, alongside new plays by Rose Heiney and writer-performer Nicôle Lecky.

Look out for forthcoming titles including an anthology of plays from London's brilliant VAULT Festival, Tatty Hennessy's wonderful A Hundred Words for Snow, and the official revised book and lyrics of current West End smash Company.

Meanwhile, over on our blog we take a look back at our Top 10 most-performed plays of 2018 - who made it to the coveted top spot?

Nick Hern Books in 2018
We had a big year in 2018. It was our thirtieth anniversary, and on top of everything else, we published more plays than we've ever published before! What's more, nearly two-thirds of those plays were by female authors a fact we're pretty proud of.

For a full round-up of our anniversary year, take a look at our Review of 2018 over on our blog...
NHB AUTHORS HONOURED AT THE WRITERS' GUILD AWARDS
The winners of this year's Writers' Guild Awards were revealed earlier this week, with Gut by NHB author Frances Poet (pictured above, with presenter Roy Williams) picking up the prize for Best Play, and Fleabag author Phoebe Waller-Bridge winning Best Long Form TV Drama for her spy comedy-drama Killing Eve.

Congratulations to both authors on their brilliant work in 2018!
