How To Navigate Through Your Child’s IEP Conference

The information provided in this workshop is a culmination of personal and professional experiences, extensive Internet research, and information taken from various sources to be documented at the end of the session.

It is by no means the final word on IEPs and IEP meetings as they are individualized and customized to meet the unique needs of each student. Melissa Phillips is an special educator for over 14 years and mother for an 19-month old.

Roaring 20s Charity Auction

Do you have fundraising or auction experience?
The Parent Connection is looking for members to help with the Spring Fantasy Luncheon Charity Auction (SFL).  We are looking for people at all commitments levels, from as little as an hour a month all the way to co-chairing the event.  All members are welcome!
Meetings are held at Scripps Mende Well Being-UTC.

Enhance your parenting skills through this powerful and practical 3-week course that teaches effective parenting skills in a supportive, loving and nonjudgmental atmosphere.  Learn the four principles of why children misbehave and how to nurture self-sufficient, responsible and self-confident children.  Cost:  $200/member or $350/member couple.  The cost for nonmembers is $395/family.  Fee does not include textbook and/or workbook, which are $30.
