Parent Connection Playgroups

Included in your membership is the opportunity for you to join a neighborhood playgroup.  Learning from each other as parents and helping each other as friends, Parent Connection members share experiences and information enjoy social activities and build lasting friendships.  We have working parents playgroups that meet on the weekends and always looking for more parents to help start these groups.  If you are interested in finding out more about the playgroups, email info@sandiegoparent.com with your area and birth year of your child.  Also if you are interested in finding out how to start a playgroup in your area, Christine will be more than happy to help you start one.  Parents need support whether they are working in or outside of the house. 
 

Spring Annual Luncheon

The Parent Connection is looking for members to help with the Spring Annual Luncheon.  We are looking for people at all commitment levels, from as little as an hour a month all the way to co-chairing the event.  All members are welcome!

Next meeting is on Tuesday, January 28 at 10am in Clairemont.  If you are able to come, please email info@sandiegoparent.com.  If you are unable to attend, please let us know what you are interested in helping out with.

Redirecting Children's Behavior

Enhance your parenting skills through this powerful and practical 3-week course that teaches effective parenting skills in a supportive, loving and nonjudgmental atmosphere.  Learn the four principles of why children misbehave and how to nurture self-sufficient, responsible and self-confident children by using techniques that build mutual respect, create positive motivational messages, prevent sibling rivalry and minimize power struggles.  This course is taught by supportive and experienced instructors.  These popular classes fill quickly.  The cost is $200/member or $350/member couple.  The cost for nonmembers is $395/family.  Fee does not include textbook and/or workbook, which are $30.
