Be Heard Boulder: Please Give Input on Transportation Technologies & Vehicle Climate Fees

The City of Boulder is asking monthly transportation questions on the Be Heard Boulder website. It takes just 5 minutes to fill in. Click on the link, register if you haven’t already and chime in. This is an important opportunity to give direct input on directions for future transportation funding and contribute to our city’s Transportation Master Plan Update.

Stay in the Know: Sign Up for Community Cycles Advocacy News, our daily digest of breaking transportation issues and news. To register, click the above link to Google Groups, then search for Community Cycles News. Click on Community Cycles News to join the group. Contact Alexey if you have any questions.

Report a Close Call or Unsafe Conditions to the City of Boulder. The Inquire Boulder App lets you add a photo and exact location. Select the Topic Area to Report a close call (under Transportation), request sidewalk maintenance, request a snow plow, etc.

Report An Aggressive Driver:  Dial *CSP  (*277). If you see a problematic driver, get their license number, and repeat it out loud to yourself to help you remember it, and report it to the Colorado State Patrol when they answer the phone.

Walk & Bike Month will bring a slew of new workshops, including Fit, Touring, MTB Touring, Wheel Building, Suspension Set-up and Trailside Maintenance, along with all our old favorites like Orientation, Mechanics 101, Fix-A-Flat, Disc Brake 101 and Women/Trans/Femme classes. Register for a class here.

Complete Mechanics Series (CMS). Registration for August Series (June is full) will be live on our website in June. Register here.

Cycling Tip

The good riding season has begun. It's an opportune time to organize your Fix-A-Flat kit. Here are some things to look for:
  • Make sure CO2 cartridges are unused or that you have a pump.
  • Make sure your spare tube is still holding air, and carry some patches, just in case.
  • Re-assess the tools you carry, make any updates or improvements, and make sure you have what you need.

Matching Gifts

We are grateful for all our donors who support special programs like our Kids’ Holiday Bike Giveaway and our Earn-A-Bike program. Did you know that some employers match employees’ donations to non-profit organizations? If your employer does, you can double your support, double the goodness and increase your effectiveness. Check here to see if you can get in on the fun.
