Community Cycles New Shop at 2601 Spruce

Getting to our new location has been an amazing three-year ride. You’ve probably heard me say this before, but once again: THANK YOU to all of our donors,  contractors, volunteers and our entire community for making this possible. We are thrilled to finally be open in our new space. Operations in our new shop will begin on Friday, March 29. Last day of operations at our Wilderness Place location will be Sunday, March 24.

We will be closed March 25 - 28. If you would like to volunteer to help us move Monday or Tuesday (packing and lifting--we do not need additional vehicles), please come to our Wilderness Place location between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on 3/25 and 3/26.

On Wednesday, March 27, we are planning a move by bicycle, from 12 - 2 p.m. Bring your cargo bike, bike trailer, your baskets and panniers and meet us at the Wilderness Place shop at noon. We’ll load bikes and ride over.

We are thrilled to be able to serve the community from our new location--2601 Spruce St., Unit B (in the back), 80302. Drop by and check it out!

Thanks and Ride On!

Bike to Work Day

Bike to Work Day is coming up on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 - Save the date!

Our mechanics have worked all winter and have created some absolutely lovely bikes for you and the community. We are almost out of bikes to refurbish, though. Got some spring cleaning happening? If you find a bike you no longer use, we will happily take your donation on March 29 or after in our new location at 2601 Spruce Street, Unit B (B for Bicycles and Back Door -- enter from the alley or north side). Half price! Bare frames, trailers and tagalongs from now until our move or while supplies last.

Meet Craig Wilks

Help us welcome Craig Wilks to Community Cycles. He will be joining us as a greeter at the front desk. Craig is a 4th generation Coloradan, originally from Lakewood. He started long-distance touring in college with his friends, and also got into bike building. When asked why he wanted to work at Community Cycles, he said he "got excited about what CC does. The more you can get people away from driving and to cycling, the better". We agree and are excited to have him on board.
