Community Cycles New Shop at 2601 Spruce

It’s a huge job to fit out an empty shell and make it a functioning community bike shop, but we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel! Unfortunately, because there are so many contractors and volunteers doing the construction with inevitable delays, plus required city permits before we can move in and open to the public, we are not certain of our exact move-in date. We do expect to be operating in the new space by March 12th. We’ll send a special eblast to announce our exact opening date. We are also hoping to do some of the move by bike if we can get it to work with the weather and timing. Stay tuned to Community Cycles’ website and social media for updates!

Thanks so much to the many, many donors who helped make this new building possible, and the many volunteers who have showed up to help paint, build things, install tile, move from our old shop and much more.

Here are some photos of the beautiful new shop!

Thanks and Ride On!

FREE Bike Repair and Safety Skills Classes in Your Neighborhood or at Your Business AND Help Encourage Bicycling in Your Neighborhood!

Community Cycles won a grant from the Regional Air Quality Commission to help more people choose bicycle commuting, both in the city and county of Boulder.  We need your help to put these grant dollars to work in our community. We are looking for neighborhoods and businesses interested in hosting basic bike repair and traffic skills classes. These can take place in your HOA clubhouse, parking lot or a neighbor's home. Classes are also open to businesses as a “Lunch and Learn” program.

If you would like us to come to you and offer this class FOR FREE, please contact Aidan aidanj@communitycycles.org.

If you’d like to encourage bicycling in your neighborhood, BE A NEIGHBORHOOD BIKE AMBASSADOR. You will help us with any or all of these essential activities: Find locations where we can hold classes, spread the word with your neighborhood about the classes, participate in classes, identify best routes to schools, shopping, errands, work commutes in and around your neighborhood and join social rides.

Can you help us out? contact Aidan aidanj@communitycycles.org or take this quick survey.
