Organization Name: Midland Center for the Arts

Location: Midland, MI (Great Lakes Bay Region)

Mission Statement/Organizational Focus:
To be a regional cultural destination where people find meaning and connection in their busy lives.

Types of programming offered: Touring Broadway, world music and dance, concerts, comedy, classical, and community engagement specific.

Looking to collaborate/route programming? We are always open to collaborate on routing for an artist. Being in Midland, we are in a location avoiding conflict with most markets and are well routed with Lansing, Detroit, Kalamazoo among many other cities. Keeping open lines of communication with my colleagues around the state is beneficial to everyone as opportunities come up.

About the organization: The Midland Center of the Arts is a unique place where audiences, patrons, and participants can each find a place to perform, participate or both! Physically, the Center is made up of a 1,500 seat proscenium theater, 400 seat theater with 360 degree rotating stage and ancillary spaces to support each in addition to a museum of science and art and an off-site historical campus. The performances that take place on our stages (and beyond) include the Midland Symphony Orchestra, a regional professional symphony as part of the Center, adult and youth choirs, community theater productions as well as a Broadway series and other performances across various genres.
