Hello Commander,
Welcome to Elite Dangerous Newsletter #105.

It’s our final update of 2015 and what better way to celebrate an incredible year than highlighting the most important part of Elite Dangerous, you the community.
Whether you recently joined us or have been playing Elite Dangerous since we launched last December, we are so grateful you are with us for the ride. You, our community, are not just what makes Elite Dangerous special but with Community Goals and the way you play, your actions actually shape the game! For that and the many many contributions, events, screenshots and videos, we thank you!
Elite Dangerous: Horizons is out now with the recent arrival in December of the first major instalment, Planetary Landings, and it continues into 2016 with more major releases planned as part of our second full season of content.

You can order Elite Dangerous: Horizons now on the Frontier store here.
Don’t forget, Commanders who already own Elite Dangerous will also get access to an additional ship in-game, the Cobra MkIV, and are currently eligible for a £10 ($15) loyalty discount which will automatically be applied at the checkout when you buy Elite Dangerous: Horizons.
We also have some great new products on the store, and did you know you can now access the store to buy paint jobs from in the game. When docked, simply go to Outfitting in the Starport Services and click on livery. You can view the paintjobs you already own, buy paintjobs for the ship you are currently flying and access new purchases without leaving the game.

As always, you can hear the latest news and updates directly from the development team on our Forums, TwitterFacebook, Community Homepageand right here in the newsletter every week, and we're always eager to hear your feedback.

The 24 Hour Charity Livestream

On the 21st December we celebrated Christmas in the best possible way - spending 24 hours with our incredible community. Through the livestream we had games, quizzes, events, music, mayhem and much much more. What's more, you managed to raise over £25,000 for the SpecialEffect charity, including gift aid donations. This event simply wouldn’t be possible without the amazing contributions of our community. You ran events during the stream, stayed up for hours with us, supported us, spread the word of the event and donated for this amazing cause. Well done and thank you to our incredible community, there truly was no better way to celebrate an amazing year than to spend it with you.

As we bring the year to a close and focus on the brilliant community surrounding Elite Dangerous, we thought it would be a good time to recap and revisit some of the incredible Educating Ed episodes that have happened in 2015.
