Justice Without Boundaries - Mexico Tour

AWFW's New Partnership - Mexico!

Suffering extends far beyond national boundaries... and so does our work.

Anima Naturalis Table in MexicoIn addition to our strong partnerships in Ethiopia, India, and Kenya, we're thrilled to announce a new partnership strengthening advocacy in Mexico.

To launch this new partnership, AWFW is teaming-up with the month-long
Justicia sin Barreras tour, April 8 - May 7, 2013.

Together with
Anima Naturalis and the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, this new collaborative effort is uniting vegan and other social justice activists.

Tour Details  (April 8th - May 7th)

Class in MexicoThe Justicia sin Barreras Tour will stop in 14 major cities throughout Mexico and will conduct more than 40 presentations. It will build connections with leaders, professors, students, and activists to improve critical food justice issues in Mexico, the U.S., and globally.

Specifically, the tour will provide...
  • Training for 500+ activists, especially on the use of provided instructional materials.
  • Presentations on the intersection of factory farming, climate change, sustainability, health, workers rights, and animal rights.
  • Vegan cookbooks and cooking demonstrations with traditional dishes and regional ingredients.
  • Documentation of the tour (using HD video, still photography, documentary writing, and interview recordings) to create tools after the tour concludes.

Coalition's Philosophy

Mexico Food & DiscussionThe tour unites social justice movements and promotes cultural attitudes that encourage the inclusion and leadership of minority groups.

This tour helps fill a gap by involving activists and the public outside of the U.S because it is vital that people from all spheres are part of global leadership and advocacy efforts.
