Everyday Teas to Savor All Day Long

January is a month we traditionally drink more hot tea to stave off the winter chill. We keep a warm mug close at hand and look for excuses to heat the kettle and fill the room with the aroma of tea and spice.

With that in mind, we're featuring a group of teas we call our "Everyday Teas". The criteria for "everyday" are quality, value and being tolerant of a wide variety of brewing methods, water temperature and steeping time. Two new additions that meet Roy's standards for this category are Superior Hojicha and Organic Chai.
Superior Hojicha

New Offering!  Crafted from the stems of our Imperial Gyokuro by the same artisan growers, this Hojicha is meticulously roasted to create the unique toasty flavor and aroma.  We chose it to lead our list of "everyday" teas because it perfectly represents the qualities of being easy to brew, richly flavorful and affordable.
Everyday White

In the gloom of winter, our Everyday White brews the flavors and aromas of Spring in Fujian Province. Hand-picked and sun-dried, these downy buds and sweet, green leaves are consistently one of the most popular selections on Imperial Tea Court's entire tea menu.

Organic Everyday Green

A green tea that earns the "Everyday" distinction is truly one to celebrate. Meeting our criteria for being tolerant of a wide range of brewing temperatures is not a common trait for any green tea. This delightfully uncommon green tea delivers with full, vibrant flavors.
Organic Chai

New Offering!  The backbone of this blend is a hearty, Organic Assam CTC (cut, torn and curl - a production method that produces a uniformly sized rolled leaf that allows for better infusion and blending) and a variety of Indian warming spices; ginger, cardamom, cinnamon. Deep layers of exotic flavors and texture. Brewed strong, with or without milk according to your personal preference. A strong cup or two will surely help eradicate any winter blues.
Winter Spice Blend

This pungent blend is a winter aroma-therapy in a cup. Scents of cinnamon, ginger and orange peel lift your spirits as you wrap cold fingers around a full mug. Strong and satisfying, this tea stands up to the chills of  long, dark days.

Autumn Herbal Potion

Let our blend of green tea, lavender and mint clear your head and brighten your afternoon with a sip of freshness in your teacup. Like our other everyday teas, this hearty brew is tolerant and forgiving of almost temperature and brewing techniques, offering you a completely relaxing respite.
