Mark Johnson Keynote Speaker at
2015 Region Transportation Summit

Mark Johnson, P.E. will be the keynote speaker at the 2015 Region Transportation Summit, presented by the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments.
The Transportation Summit will be held Friday, March 20, 2015, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Maumee, OH. The Summit provides a forum for discussing the transportation of both people and goods in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. The Summit is of value to elected officials, planners, engineers, service providers, K-16 education professionals, and those representing business and industry.
  • One-day Roundabout Workshop at University of Vermont Campus
    Mark Johnson will present a one-day workshop on roundabouts on the campus of the University of Vermont in Burlington.
    Date: March 31, 2015
    Location: Memorial Lounge, Waterman Building, University of Vermont, Burlington, VT.
    Time: 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    The event is sponsored by Burlington’s Neighborhood Planning Assembly 2/3 and the University of Vermont Center on Aging. Registration is open to the public.
  • MTJ Spring Roundabout Training in Canada
    Mark Johnson will provide Roundabout Design and Analysis training for the Educational Program Innovations Center (EPIC) in April.  The two-day training course, "Roundabout Planning, Design and Implementation," will be held in Calgary, Alberta, on April 13-14, and in Ottawa, Ontario on April 27-28.
  • MTJ Selected as Prequalified Consultant by Maine DOT
    The Maine DOT has approved MTJ Engineering, LLC as a Prequalified Consultant for Roundabout Peer Review Services. The Prequalified Consultant selections from ME DOT were announced earlier this month.

    Additionally, Mark Johnson, P.E. is currently licensed in WI, IN, MN, OR, GA, TX, CO, NE, AZ, ME, OH, FL, and AB.

The MTJ/Omni-Means team developed a cost-effective solution in Galt, CA that included two closely spaced roundabouts with flared entries. By utilizing the existing bridge structure, it added substantial capacity to the previously congested signalized ramp terminal intersections.
