Harmony Pregnancy and Resource Center News
The Earn While You Learn program is still going strong. Our first mom earned her crib this week! She came to us for her positive pregnancy test in September 2014 and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy three weeks ago. Throughout her pregnancy she attended parenting classes and saved enough credits to earn most of the items for her infant, as well as, her crib.
The average crib set is 125 credits
Clients earn on the average 10 credits per parenting class. We continue to see growth as they progress through our curriculum and in their relationships with our volunteers.
The aforementioned client was able to experience and see the love of Christ 18 times over her pregnancy. And the best news is we will continue to invest in this mother until her child outgrows our services.
We are planning several programs over the summer for our moms and their children (VBS). Be in prayer that these events will have an impact for Christ in their lives.
