The phone rang yesterday morning and I answered in our normal friendly manner 'Good Morning HideAway Haven' and it was Dougie from RadioWest 783 Albany, telling us that we had won the 2nd round of 'Business Renovators Competition'. We have won a $7,830.00 advertising and promotion package for 2012. We used 'The HideAway Infusion' package for the application, so this will be a great boost to the region as well. Check it out!! 'The HideAway Infusion ' Next week we will be interviewed by the radio station. The response on facebook to our news was amazing.
Last weekend we finished filming the final footage for our package. The filming took place at HideAway with 3 lovely ladies, who were rewarded for all their 'hard' work with a bottle of champagne in the Jacuzzi. We have just seen a preview of the video...It's awesome!! Can't wait to share it with you.
Thanks girls...it was a lot of fun. Final production will be completed early next week. We are offering a special discount of 5% to the first guests who book the package.
We were blessed this week to provide a haven for a very special couple who needed time out and a chance to relax with just the sounds of nature. Hayley from Retreat Yourself at Radiant Being provided yoga and meditation therapy, a special dinner was prepared by a friend, then finally a long soak in the Jacuzzi before a comfy night of sleep. The next morning we served breakfast, before they returned to the real world. This was their comment in the guest book. We can feel the passion and love that you both put into this haven and it has touched our hearts. We look forward to working with Hayley on some Yoga and Meditation retreats in the near future.
Last weekend we had Liv and Tom spend their wedding night with us. We furnished their room with our newly purchased linen especially used for wedding and anniversary couples.
Teddy welcomed them with flowers.
HideAway Haven hosted its first wedding yesterday. The couple were married in the garden surrounded by trees & birds. Only the bridal couple's son and the brides parents from Norway, were present in a very private ceremony. The parents had absolutely no idea what was about to take place until just before the ceremony. They thought they were off to a very fancy restaurant for dinner. Surprise! We had the pleasure of cooking them a fabulous Italian dinner. We served Heirloom Tomato Stack with Basil Oil, Garlic Bread, Italian Salad, Sardinian Pork and Salami Pasta with our special tomato sauce recipe and Mocha Ricotta Tiramasu for dessert. What an honour to be a part of such a blessed event.
