This weekend, a AAA assessor visited HideAway Haven and was very impressed with the building, facilities and extra services provided for our pampered guests, resulting in a five star rating in the Hosted Accommodation category. Achieving a AAA five star rating is a significant dream in any accommodation provider’s career. For us, achieving this goal is a dream come true. We are absolutely ecstatic with receiving the AAA 5 star rating. This is definitely an acknowledgment for all the hard work, passion and love we have put into HideAway Haven. We are thrilled to be recognised for the exceptional services we provide for our guests.” We think we are worth 5 Hearts as well :-) What do you think?

We were also awarded an Eco-Friendly Star Accreditation (Green Star). Accommodation providers must demonstrate energy efficiency, waste minimisation and water management strategies in order to be awarded this honour.
Marinated Mozzarella and Chicken with Crunchy Bread, Smoked Bacon and a Black Olive, Chilli and Lemon Dressing, served with a side salad, roasted tomato and a herb crumble.
Last Week we headed to the Porongurup Wine Festival at Castle Hill Winery. Maggie competed in the One Wok Wonder competition where she had to create a dish using Chicken and Bread.....the remaining ingredients could be brought along. She received 2nd place. The recipe is on our blog.
Our 2012 ACCI Business Award Application has been handed in. Certainly was a lot of work. Many hours behind the computer. So many interesting and exciting things have happened at HideAway Haven during the past year. It all needed to fit neatly onto 12 pages. How do we put all the love and passion we have for our HideAway Haven and all our wonderful appreciative guests into 12 pages. How can we possibly put into 12 pages what HideAway Haven offers all our guests not only with physical needs but also emotional? How we live up to your expectations, how you arrive tired and stressed then leave refreshed and ready to take on the world again? Thank you to all of you for your part in making our dream a reality. We would love to continue to share our piece of paradise with others but need your help. As you probably know we were winners in the 2011 Customer Service Business of the Year Award. We would like to do it again this year and really need your help!!.

Our 'The HideAway Infusion' Chef Daniel Sharp has re-opened the restaurant at 'Forest Hill Winery' What a beautiful venue. He has also turned the cellar door into a wine bar with live music on Friday night's serving his famous tapas and Forest Hill wines. We went to the opening of groove@the cellar. What an amazing venue, with tables set up outside to take in the breath taking views.

We attended Degustation Dining on the Rocks with Russell Blaike last night. Wow what an brillant night we had. The venue was at the historic The Rocks and long tables were set up outside for 50 guests. Overlooking the harbour the views were amazing and the food was sensational. Using local fresh produce Russell wowed us with his culinary skills and talents. The regions wine were showcased with each course ~ Wow amazing. Don't miss this opportunity to join in one of these events while visiting Albany.
