|2012 GWN7 Western Australian Regional Small Business Awards - finalists announced and HideAway Haven is one of them in the Home Based Business section. We are so excited. Our flights with Skywest are booked. We decided to have a mini break and splurge before the real busy season hits us. We have booked a room at the Crown Metropol and will experience internationally-renowned Japanese cuisine at Nobu Perth on Thursday night. Even if we don't win on the night we are feeling like winners anyway. We are competing with the 'best of the best' businesses from all over WA and we are proud of our significant achievement.
Everlasting Images has finished with our photos and our disk will be in the mail this week. Can't wait to see the photos and share them with you. Our new Bush Land Executive suite is proving very popular with our guests with some of them upgrading when we show them the room. It really is something very special.
Sneak Peek of one of the photos. More next time :-) Waiting for the weather to clear up and we will have Hannah back to take some outside shots.......she is a very talented photogrpaher.
Teddy has been taken hostage!!
The award ceremony includes a video of all the finalists. Lomax Media visited this week to capture some Teddy Bear mischief. They took one of our Teddies hostage and he has been getting into all sorts of mischief!!! Hopefully he will be returned next Friday night - unharmed!!
We are heading into our busy season and guests often ask for restaurant recommendations. Here are our top 3 picks for this week:
Lime 303 ~ Ensure you have a booking as they are always busy. Ph 08 98457298
Joop Thai ~ Amazing Thai food. Bookings recommended. (Closed Mondays) Exciting news they are now licensed and there is a take-a-way menu. We had dinner there recently with my brother Mike and my beautiful niece Camille and her daughter Michaela.
Curry Leaf ~ Authentic Indian Food. Dine in or Take-A-Way. We enjoyed their take-a-way this week. Thanks Chef Venkatesh.
Girls GetAway @ HideAway
Last weekend the winners of the most likes on their entry into the competition stayed with us for 2 nights. Rachel and Luke enjoyed a complimentary Italian dinner as their prize. Heirloom Tomato Stack, Cannelonni with an Italian Salad and Garlic Bread and a yummy dessert. We loved having them here and spoiling them for the weekend. Thanks for being such awesome HH fans.
