|Becki & Maggie would like to wish all our family, friends, guests past, present and future a very happy & healthy New Year.
As we reflect on 2010 we acknowledge what has taken place at HideAway Haven, we remember our efforts and the goals we have achieved. 2010 saw us double our bookings from 2009. We remember the laughter, the joy, the hard work and the love we have shared and the happiness we have brought.
We have also completely revamped our website. Click Here to have a look. We can now post up to the minute news and latest offers on our blog, put up new photos, and keep our website totally up to date. Please give us any feedback.

December and January have been/will be our very busiest months. There will be many breakfast making their way downstairs for our guests to enjoy before they head out for a busy day of sightseeing. We receive so many compliment from our guests after they have sampled our food.
From Jo and Aly - 'Babymooner Couple'
'The food was absolutely amazing. Becki and Maggie make the most outstanding breakfasts every morning. We're not kidding when we say that it's probably the best breakfast we've ever had on a vacation (even beats the 5-star Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur!). Not only is the food different every day, but those dishes take care, heart, and a lot of thought and planning. It's only hosts who really care about their guests who go out of their way to do that. Furthermore, the breakfast must have a market value of around $80 - and it's included in the price! It brings the value of the room to unbeatable.'
Babymoon is a term used to describe a vacation taken by a couple that is expecting a baby in order to allow the couple to enjoy a final trip together before the many sleepless nights that usually accompany a newborn baby
Combining the intimacy of a bed-and-breakfast with the luxury lodging accommodations of a boutique hotel, HideAway Haven offers personal touches for parents-to-be.
We have been hosts to many couples who are expecting their first baby. We offer them peace, privacy, modern conveniences and serve a delicious gourmet breakfast each morning to give them the required energy needed for a day of sightseeing in beautiful Albany. Our breakfasts are never boring and there is always something different on the menu each morning.
As it is not advisable to sit in a steaming jacuzzi while pregnant, due to the risk over overheating, we are quite happy to drop the temperature in the Jacuzzi to a comfortable and safe 36 degrees, so pregnant Mums can still enjoy the therapeutic massage of the jets on their back.
An evening session in the jacuzzi will help you to relax and sleep better by relieving any aches and pains. With so many physical and emotional changes happening during pregnancy, it's no surprise that 8 out of 10 women have insomnia and other sleep problems during pregnancy. An evening soak in the Jacuzzi certainly goes a long way towards having a better night’s sleep.
Albany Entertainment Centre
Albany's most anticipated Entertainment Centre (AEC) is now open. Featuring state of the art art lighting and sound it has breathtaking views over our Princess Royal Harbour. We will be attending the Albany Chamber of Commerce - Business After Hours event on January 19 at the AEC so will get the opportunity to see it for ourselves.
Come and see the venue when the Great Southern Festival begins in February. Click Here for a full program. Other events are the Taste Great Southern Friday 4 - Monday 7 March. Indulge in regional vineyard events and culinary delights. There are concerts, movies and meet the author. So book in at HideAway Haven and enjoy the Arts in Albany.
Well I better get back to the kitchen...we have guests to feed
Till next time
