Upcoming Webinar: Alberta Nutrition Report Card

Good food and nutrition are essential to promoting the health of children and youth and preventing chronic diseases. Our eating habits are influenced by the settings where we live, play, and grow. Municipalities have the ability to foster environments that provide and encourage healthy food choices. For example, did you know that municipal zoning can limit unhealthy food vendors near schools?

In partnership with the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association and Rural Municipalities of Alberta, the APCCP is pleased to host a two-part online webinar for municipalities on the recently released 2018 Alberta Nutrition Report Card.
