Alberta’s public health community is calling on all political parties to address the issues required to make Albertans healthier and our healthcare system sustainable. We are currently facing a chronic disease epidemic in Alberta, with the burden of disease resting heavily on vulnerable Albertans. As the epidemic worsens, health disparities widen. Solutions must be found to improve the physical and mental health and economic well-being of all Albertans.
In partnership with the Alberta Public Health Association and the O'Brien Institute for Public Health, the APCCP is pleased to host an all-party candidate forum to discuss pressing public health issues. Political parties with seats in the legislature will be invited to attend.
Date: April 12th
Time: 12:00-1:30 pm
Location: Calgary Central Library
800 3 St SE, Calgary AB
