SHINE: Creative Ageing Special

The NSW Seniors Festival is happening from April 13 - 24 and there are a number of creative events featured in our Mid North Coast SHINE Festival!
As part of our commitment to encouraging arts participation and Creative Ageing, Arts Mid North Coast promotes activities and events in the region during the NSW Seniors Festival. Presented by the NSW Government, NSW Seniors Festival is designed to celebrate the role seniors play and the contributions they make to the NSW community.
If you are over 60, NSW Seniors Festival gives you the chance to learn new skills, be entertained and active, make new friends or get together with old ones at an array of local community programs, many which are free or heavily discounted.

Currently available to carers. All levels of artistic ability encouraged. A small, relaxed group will meet weekly in April to explore art-making techniques. Each participant will be guided through a fun process to create their own original piece of art. Read more
