Why vote for this project?
Musicians in Hospitals is part of our commitment and continued work in the area of Arts, Health and Wellbeing. Research has shown that live music in hospitals provides comfort to patients. Music can help reduce stress and anxiety, reduces medication needs, helps to alleviate pain, improves communication with health professionals and shortens lengths of stay. If successful, this pilot program can be rolled out into other hospitals across the region.
