New judge announced for Sculpture in the Gaol 2019

Chris Edwards of 'Edwards Clarke' is the new judge for the 2019 Sculpture in the Gaol. Chris is a designer, public art specialist and a descendant of the Gumbaynggir people of Nambucca Heads. He is a regular finalist in the Parliament of NSW Indigenous Art Prize and has also won the National Landcom Mentorship Award.  

Organisers have also announced new awards for this year's competition: the Environmental Awareness, Emerging Artist Awards and 'Spirit of the Macleay Valley Award' by National Parks & Wildlife. 

Entries close 5 pm Friday 14th June via www.sculptureinthegaol.com.au 

The event runs from 3 - 30 August 2019 at Trial Bay Gaol, South West Rocks.
