Arts Mid North Coast supports
Australian Festival Industry Conference 

Arts Mid North Coast have come on board as silver sponsors for the inaugural Australian Festival Industry Conference. The event aims to discuss key national issues facing the industry, in addition to facilitating professional development of, and the promotion of careers in festival management. 

Attendees will have the chance to learn from some of the country’s most experienced professionals around legislative changes, operational developments, event management technology advances, volunteer management strategies, and more.

Confirmed speakers include Phil Tripp (, South by Southwest - SXSW); Heather Croall (Adelaide Fringe); Glenn Hardy (IER Pty Ltd) and Angus Abadee, (Liquor and Gaming NSW)

The Australian Festival Industry Conference is a must for anyone who works in the business of organising or supplying services and infrastructure to festivals and major events - including music, arts & culture and food. The event will be held on 24 October 2019 at Opal Cove Resort in Coffs Harbour.

Exciting vision for new Cultural and Civic Space in Coffs Harbour 

Coffs Harbour City Council has released a preliminary Schematic Design for the proposed Cultural and Civic Space for the Coffs Harbour region. With an overarching theme of ‘All Welcome’, the design aims to ‘gather, create and discover’ in this reimagined space to combine arts, community and culture.

The preliminary schematic design will be on display at the Council’s Customer Service Centre in Castle Street and local libraries until 31 May. Community and key stakeholders are invited to view the draft schematic design at one of the displays or upcoming pop up stalls:

  • Toormina Gardens, 23 May, 9am-3pm
  • Moonee Beach Market Place, 31 May, 9am-3pm

The Artist Support Grants supports the creation of original contemporary music in NSW and the presentation of NSW artists. Artists and managers can apply for funding of up to $5,000 to access opportunities for projects.  Read More

Artists Call Out for Artwalk 2019

Artwalk is back for 2019 with an even bigger program of free pop up performances, artistic interventions and creative installations lighting up the Port Macquarie CBD. Artist applications are now open for works responding to this years' theme:  'Elements' .  Read More 

Creative Kids Vouchers 

Parents, guardians and carers can claim a $100 Creative Kids voucher from the NSW Government towards tuition costs for creative and cultural activities with approved activity providers.    Read More
