We have been busy behind the scenes and proudly announce the launch of our new-look website! Showcasing our Creative Coast - we present the best arts and cultural experiences found in our region, such as events, cultural trails and creative places. 

Our Creative Community section is aimed at our creative industry practitioners and includes the latest news, grant and opportunities across the arts sector. You will also find lots of useful resources to help you for research, business and marketing, funding and tourism & events management. 

At this stage our Artists & Networks directory is under review as we work on updating our database. However, you can find venues and institutions which are listed in our Cultural Trails.

Looking for something creative to do with the kids these holidays? We've pulled together the best summertime creative activities and events for the kids and grandkids from right across the Mid North Coast.

More Than a Beach has something for all ages, from music, drama and craft workshops to exhibitions, camps and theatre shows. Whether you are in Hallidays Point or Dorrigo - there's something here to keep those young ones creating!

SWIFF Industry Connect 2020

As part of the Screenwave International Film Festival, Arts Mid North Coast proudly presents the SWIFF Industry Connect ’20 – the Mid North Coast’s annual film industry networking event.

Industry Connect provides an opportunity for regional and travelling filmmakers to connect, foster collaboration, and build pathways to new productions for the region. Attendees will hear from industry presenters and film makers sharing information on new productions, trends, funding pathways, and development opportunities through Create NSW.

Casual networking, food, and refreshments follow the presentations. Plus, all SWIFF Industry Connect attendees receive free admission to the new Australian feature film, Buoyancy, screening at 6.30pm, Jetty Memorial Theatre following the event!

SWIFF Industry Connect will be held from 3.30pm – 5.30pm, on Monday 20 January at Element Bar, Coffs Harbour.

Creative Recovery Grants - Quick Response


Regional Arts NSW are offering Quick Response Grants of $1500 for artists / artsworkers to support creative recovery projects in areas impacted by the NSW bushfires.

Call Out for Events - Creative Ageing Festival
 

The Mid North Coast Creative Ageing Festival will be happening again in 2020, from 10 - 24 February. The festival is a celebration of ageing creatively and showcases creative activities for ages 60 and over.

Nambucca Heads Library and Cultural Precinct

Concept plans are now on display in the library at Nambucca and Macksville to view the proposed architectural design for the project to extend the library in Nambucca Heads. You can also view the plans on the Nambucca Shire Council web site.
