Ben was just 22 years of age when he was injured in a mining accident in 2004. He took up rowing a short time later and by 2006 became the NSW state champion shortly followed by Australian champion and then international success.

Ben now travels to workplaces throughout NSW with the icare Paralympic Speakers Program to educate workers on the importance of safety and the impact an injury has not only on you, but your family, friends and colleagues.

Operational rehabilitation - Compliance and reporting reforms workshop

The Resources Regulator invites you to attend (in person or via live streaming) a compliance and reporting reforms workshop at Dubbo RSL on Wednesday, 24 October from 9am to 12pm. The workshop will gather feedback, outline the changes, discuss transitional arrangements and keep industry informed about the implementation of the program.
