Proceedings commence against Mudgee Stone

Prosecution proceedings have commenced against Mudgee Stone Co Pty Ltd and one of its directors for alleged contraventions of the Mining Act.

We allege that unauthorised mining and breaches of prohibition notices took place at the quarry.

As the matter is now before the Court, further details will not be released.

Suspensions lifted on exploration leases

We have lifted the suspension notices previously issued for two exploration licences held by mining companies Total Mineral Pty Ltd and Total Iron Pty Ltd.

We will continue to monitor compliance and take appropriate action where required.
