New standard rehabilitation conditions on mining leases
A letter from the Executive Director Assessment & Systems of Mining, Exploration and Geoscience was recently distributed to all lease holders in regards to the new standard rehabilitation conditions on mining leases. The letter outlines the key requirements of the conditions and provides details regarding the transitional arrangements, such as what mines should be doing to get ready, and what happens to existing mining lease instruments and conditions.
