Greater Sydney Area COVID-19 lockdown impacts on upcoming certificate of competence examinations

We are closely monitoring whether examinations scheduled in August and September 2021 can proceed, considering the number of candidates sitting the exams who reside within the Greater Sydney area.

Candidates will be contacted directly when a decision is made on whether their examination is to proceed. At this stage the mechanical engineering examinations have been postponed and the electrical engineering examinations are still scheduled to occur on 24 August 2021.

If people require further information please contact the Mining Competencies team on 4063 6461 or mca@planning.nsw.gov.au
