Worker injured by failed components during mobile jaw crusher maintenance

A worker standing underneath a hopper of a mobile jaw crusher was struck on the ear by failed components while using a chain assembly at Buckaroo Mine near Mudgee NSW on 26 February 2021.

New Technical Reference Guide

New Technical Reference Guide

We have published a new Technical Reference Guide (TRG) which provides mine operators with guidance on developing and documenting a principal hazard management plan for spontaneous combustion in underground coal mining operations.

This TRG supersedes MDG 1006 Spontaneous Combustion Management Guideline and MDG 1006TR Technical Reference for Spontaneous Combustion Management Guideline.
