As the summer holidays get started, here’s a quick update.
The next big event is public examination of the new North London Waste Plan (NLWP).
For now, the hearing is pencilled in for some point between mid-October and early December. However, we’re told that planning inspectors with expertise in waste are in short supply, so this could slide into 2020.
Our detailed submission will be presented by planning consultants, paid for by your donations. Thank you so much for your generosity so far.
The campaign to raise the rest of the money to pay for representation at the hearing continues. I’m thrilled to say that the Galitzin String Quartet, who’ve already given two fantastic concerts for us, have agreed to perform locally again.
We're trying to find a venue free on a date that this busy quartet can do. Watch this space.
In the meantime, you can help us prepare for the upcoming consultancy bill via this link.
