A Tribute to Rev. David Thomas Link, Dean Emeritus
|
|
The Kresge Law Library is proud to present their first digital exhibit A Tribute to Rev. David Thomas Link, Dean Emeritus, Notre Dame Law School's eighth dean. The exhibit includes documents from his life including news stories, journal articles, dean's reports, and videos. The exhibit will grow to include other materials that alumni, faculty, staff, and others in the community may wish to share.
Exhibit curators and law library staff members, Yan Yu, assistant director for technical services and Beth Klein, library assistant III, built this tribute to Father Link's life based on documents that reside in the NDLScholarship repository.
Please take a moment to explore Father Link's extraordinary contributions to ND Law and discover how he embodied the phrase he coined, "A Different Kind of Lawyer."

Judy Fox receives Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Community Service Award
Judy received the 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Community Service Award last week at the MLK Community Service Recognition Breakfast.
The mayors of South Bend and Mishawaka present the award annually to a community leader who has made a difference in the lives of local residents. Judy was recognized for her years of helping low-income people facing eviction and other financial hardships.
The award is named after Dr. King's famous "Drum Major Instinct" sermon, which he ended by saying he hopes to be thought of not for his accolades, but rather for being "a drum major for justice ... a drum major for peace."
