Non-profit offers residents of Western Manor Apts help with expenses, renters
Congratulations to 3Ls Sam McNally and Dave Lanoie, who worked with Rodney Gadson and the Board of Directors to form the South Bend Tenant Association. McNally and Lanoie are both students in the Community Development Clinic. Read more in this WSBT story.

3L Katie Peachman wins scholarship from AccessLex
Katie recently won a $5,000 scholarship from AccessLex, a nonprofit organization that ND Law School partners with to provide free one-on-one financial counseling that is designed specifically for law students. Read more here.

Students in Jon Hannah's Philanthropy and Society class award grants to local nonprofits
This semester Jon taught Philanthropy and Society, the first time it was offering at the University. The class is sponsored by a nonprofit called the Philanthropy Lab, and they grant the money for the students to give to the community. Read more here and here.

The Return of the Cookie Exchange!
The Law School's Cookie Exchange is making a comeback this year! Join other members of the faculty and staff on Wednesday, December 18 at 12:30 p.m. in the Faculty Meeting Room. Bring at least 3 dozen of your cookies, and plan to bring a container to take home your goodies in. Pizza will also be served.
