Father Mike Show raises nearly $11,000 for summer stipends
The annual variety show featured students and faculty, as well as a first-time performance (in recent memory) by a staff member. Sharon Bacon, senior office assistant in Admissions, played the spoons for a very enthusiastic crowd.

Michelle Smit, 3L, wins Ladas Award from International Trademark Association
Smit is just one of two students given the award this year by the international organization. Read more about the award and her winning article on trademark law.

Program on Church, State & Society names summer fellows
Three 1L students have been awarded fellowships to work for a religious institution in a legal capacity this summer. Read about their placements here.

Steve Yelderman will present Patent Damages on the High Seas, a talk on an amicus brief he wrote for a Supreme Court patent case, 12:30 p.m., 1310 Biolchini Hall of Law.
Thursday, April 12
Faculty colloquium, Marsha Garrison, Brooklyn Law School, and Peg Brinig, 12:30 p.m., Faculty Meeting Room
Marah McLeod and Gerry Bradley will participate in a death penalty panel and discuss how Catholicism influences their vocations, 12:30 p.m., 2172 Eck Hall of Law.

The second Admitted Students Weekend will be held throughout the Law School.

Welcome Baby Sachau!
Congratulations to Alicia and Drew Sachau and big sister Adie on the birth of Genevieve Rose on April 1. Genevieve weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

Earn CLE credit on April 20
|
|
Professor Judy Fox is hosting Fighting for Fair Housing: A conference on the 50th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act on Friday, April 20, in the Law School. Indiana attorneys can earn 9.5 Continuing Legal Education credits by attending the conference.
Register for the CLE credits with this form. Faculty members will not be required to pay the CLE registration fee.
